Care and removal
It comes off the way it went on.
Wear the watch as you always have. The film takes the desk edges and door frames so the metal does not, and when it is time for new film, it lifts clean and leaves nothing behind.
Looking after the film.
- Everyday
- Wash and wipe the watch as you always have. The film takes soap and water without complaint.
- Avoid
- Solvents, abrasive polish, and ultrasonic cleaners. They will haze the surface long before they trouble the adhesive.
- Removal
- Warm the piece gently, lift a corner with a fingernail, and pull back on itself at a shallow angle. The adhesive releases clean and leaves no residue.
- Replacement
- Film is a wear item. Most owners re-cover a daily-wear piece every year or two, and a rotation piece far less often.
Time for new film?
Every kit is cut to the reference, so a replacement fits the way the first one did. Start with the number on the case.
